Toa Payoh God Tree | Tree Shrine
At the heart of Toa Payoh Central there is a “God Tree”. Known as the Tree shrine or “Ci Ern Ge“, it is a shrine for a “Tree spirit”. It also houses the Goddess of Mercy and other deities. However the tree collapsed during a violent storm in 2013, it is said to be 3 storeys high now, half of what it used to be.
