Nicknamed the blue pearl of Morocco, Chefchaouen is truly very blue and very beautiful. A small town located up the mountains, it is a nice place to wander and take photos. Every corner, every alley is picture worthy, although I have to say it has become a very touristy town.

This has to be one of the most instagrammed spot in Chefchaouen, judging from the number of people who stopped by to take a shot.
Here they sell pigment powder for painting and the guy who sold it to me mentioned that I could just add water and paint walls with it.
I wonder if this guy is using the same pigment powder that are sold in the shops.

Here we can also see many younger children hanging out together playing outside their homes.

Just at a corner beside a water point, there was this man just selling small fishes out a box.

Although most people picked Chefchaouen as a day trip, with a 3 days 2 night itinerary there is more than enough time for a relaxed hike.

When in Chefchaouen, you say hi to pet goats =)

Here you will noticed that the older woman still don the traditional hats while outdoors.

Photos here are taken with a Holga using expired Kodak E100vs and Fuji Provia 400x films.
